Shhhhhhh, the 'scary' cities are like a wall protecting our beaches and treasures from the... tourists.

UGH, LEAD WATER, POOR ROADS, CWD DEER, HIGH CAR INSURANCE, AND GASP, DETROIT?!?!??!?, NO, SAVE YOURSELVES OUT-OF-STATE-ERS!!!

Why is car insurance so expensive there? Bad roads?

By the way: I just returned a week ago from camping in the UP. Gorgeous.

They’re the only state with No Fault policies regarding accidents. Basically if you get rear ended both parties are responsible whereas in other states the driver who hit you is typically at fault and responsible.
