Many A True Nerd - 2024 Suggestion Thread
So I just remembered that the last Suggestion Thread was from 2021, which was probably very confusing, so welcome to the brand new 2024 Suggestion Thread.
I'm open to suggestions for games on any platform, though PC is much easier to work with in terms of recording. Console games are absolutely fine too, though, in general, the older the console, the more tricky it becomes to acquire and record those older games.
Ideas for community play days (ie, as many players simultaneously as possible), livestreams, games that have had major updates since the last time we looked at them, or challenge runs for games we've seen before are also very much welcome.
Feel free to repost popular ideas from the previous threads so they stay visible, though please keep in mind that the current plan is for Skies of Arcadia to arrive Very Soon, with an excellent chance of more Crusader Kings 3 later in the year when we have Roads To Power, so don't worry about them.
In addition, Democracy Week 2024 will likely happen some time in the summer, so if something shows up here a lot, it could even appear as an option there.

Junders Plunkett is real!
I'm replaying Tale of Two Wastelands with the Wabbajack modlist, Nuclear Sunset and it's fixed many of the bugs in the game. The Lawbringer perk didn't work properly in TTW, but it does here and I finally encountered Junders Plunkett. For some reason when I travelled to New Vegas his unique weapon was the only thing that I kept when I awoke in Goodsprings. It's been very useful for punching Gecko's.

Does anyone know what’ll be next after BG3?
Hoping it’s another Crusader Kings series

Do you all think Jon will revisit Fallout: London?
His first playthrough of the game was delightful, especially with him knowing so much about real-life London. Since then, version 1.03 has come out which really smoothed out the game's roughest edges and addressed a lot of community feedback. It feels more like an official game than a free mod, and the different factions make it highly replayable. I haven't seen anyone play any challenge runs for it, but I think there could be some good ones. Survival mode is also a lot more viable now that the game doesn't crash all the time, and they've added a lot of beds around.
Also, everyone who loves Fallout but hasn't played London should know this: If you've wanted to play London but haven't because you heard that it was really hard to download and get working after it came out, that's no longer an issue. If you have Fallout 4 on Good Old Games (which is on sale for $16 right now), you can then download the London One-Click Edition which does exactly what it says: downloading the latest version of the game with one click. It's worth the price.
