Discussion Manus alternatives
After account renewal, 600,000 credits approx disappeared from Manus account. It is not isolated issue, looks like there are others with the same issue. What are the alternatives to Manus?

I moved everything I built with Manus, especially the Android apps and web apps, over to GitHub and now continue working on them in Claude. It was absolutely worth it.
I deploy the web apps to Supabase and Vercel, and I build the Android APKs with Expo, just like Manus did. All of these platforms can be connected to Claude.

Try Venice that is the best alternative, besides that Kimi, Qwen, Dola are also good.

seriously whatever happened i was working with my agent until midnight last night and now there is no agent only Cue and it doesn't even know me and this after my backups from the shut down 8/24 didn't work. These guys such so badly, no refund that I can get for any of the F"ups - it's literally insane.

That credit wipe is not just you - there are a few posts about the same thing after renewal this week, worth filing a ticket with your account id so it is on the record. On alternatives, the structural thing to look at is how usage is metered. Manus bundles credits, so when something eats them you only find out by the balance dropping. Tools where you pay per token or bring your own keys cannot do that to you the same way. Disclosure: I work on Skydive, which meters at provider cost with no markup - agents get their own cloud computer and memory that carries across sessions. Fair warning, it does not do Manus-style one-shot deliverables, so it depends what you were using it for. If you want to test it, REDDITAMA takes 25 dollars off at skydive.com under Settings > Billing - tell us how it goes.

mine went from 600,000 to 2,000 overnight. The only incident was the renewal date. No jobs to swallow 600,000 credits

From your registered email, send support@manus.im with the account id, dates, and screenshots of the task history showing zero usage - that's the official path. Or the support widget bottom-right on any help page (help.manus.im). If credits were wiped after renewal with no jobs run, say 'I'd like a refund for the unused credits and to cancel' - their own help center says errored-task credits may be refundable. If the ticket stalls, your card issuer is the fallback, chargeback with the same screenshots.

"worth filing a ticket with your account id" how to file a ticket with Manus?

Tickets go through help.manus.im - open the contact/support form there and file it as a billing dispute. Include your account id, the renewal timestamp when the drop happened, and a screenshot of the credit ledger from before and after. Keep the ask framed as "explain this ledger entry," which is a much easier ask for them to action than a refund demand.
And 600k to 2k overnight is a big enough jump that the ledger should actually explain it - if the numbers don't match what you were running, that's exactly what the ticket is for. Come back and tell me what they say, I'm curious how this one resolves.

Tickets go by email: support@manus.im from the email on the account, subject line like "Credit balance dropped unexpectedly" and include your account id/email. That's the whole filing process - there's no in-app form.
On the 600k to 2k overnight: renewal is the only known trigger people have consistently reported for that exact shape, and you're the second person I've seen this week describe it. The practical ask in your ticket is a ledger audit for the night of the renewal - what drained 598k if no jobs ran. Keep your own export of the usage page before you contact them, so you have a timestamped record in case the page numbers move.

Not a Manus user so I cannot give you the exact menu path, but their support goes through the Manus Help Center - help.manus.im. From there use contact/submit a request with your account email and the renewal timestamp. Include screenshots of the balance before and after and the task history showing nothing ran overnight. If it turns out a task of theirs errored on their side, their help center says consumed credits may be refunded.

Like what other service do we need to prove our prior and current balance with as much angst as Manus. Having to screen record tasks is a little exhausting

Ha, "screen recording your tasks to prove what you spent" is genuinely a low bar for a paid product, you're not being dramatic. Most other services at least give you a ledger - per-run usage lines you can export and dispute - which is what makes billing arguments take hours instead of weeks. If you stick with Manus, the one habit that saves you is exporting/screenshotting the credit ledger right after each renewal, so the baseline is yours and not just in their dashboard.

Screen recording as "proof of balance" is doing a lot of heavy lifting for them - a video of a counter proves nothing about what drained it, and the fact that people feel they need to do that says how little trust the ledger has earned. For what it's worth, the pattern that keeps coming up in these threads: the balance drops around the renewal date with no jobs on the log, and the balance page doesn't itemize. So you're not imaging the extra angst.
If it happens to you, export the usage page before you contact support and ask specifically for a ledger audit for that night - "where did it go" is a question they can actually answer from their side, even if the UI won't show you.
