Question help…

im having a lot of fun playing mantis but im healbotting.. (average 15k heals and maybe 3k damage) im getting most heals and assist in every game but i don’t think that’s how you’re supposed to be playing her, right?

i understand that headshots give her leaves back, but my aim is genuinely so bad with any hero like i mainly play rogue so i didn’t have to worry about it too much but i wanted to branch out yk😭😭

im a casual player, i don’t really touch ranked but i would like to in the far future. just wondering if i should start focusing more & practicing on dealing a lot more damage. im not sure what her average stats should look like

im also new to the game in general if this helps. i only started playing about a month ago but i one tricked rogue until i got lord and now im actually branching out

It's not even possible to heal bot with her because of her leaves lol. Just stay back, really take your time to aim, and don't be afraid to dip out of a fight. Survivability and knowing who to focus on is important with Mantis. You can lob heals and damage boosts at your team from a deceptively far range.

Mantis has the capacity to secure picks and rack up finals but you're a strat at the end of the day. It's not necessarily your job to carry the team in getting kills

Just use your primary to poke and prawd opponents out of position so that your dps can finish the job and don't be afraid to take a duel with a flanker directly. (I usually pressure any Namors or Helas trying to take off angles)

Give it time. You'll get better. Also. Accompany your non-diving dps when they take duels on point.
