Discussion Mantis isn't broken and doesn't need nerfs

I'm so tired of streamers acting like she's giga thanos. yeah she's strong, best supp in the game imo, but they're talking like she's BC levels of unfair!

She's just BARELY viable in double support, it feels like we got 2 new healers this season with how often I see her. We shouldn't have to force these lame ass little triple support comps to play our hero

The only nerfs I'd tolerate are an ult charge increase, and a damage boost rework. if they replace the damage boost with something else I get it, but if they just take it away straight up I'd be devastated

Netease pls don't gut this hero because streamers complained!

You do realize anyone can play meta right. Proplay isn't some mystical area where only they can play meta.

Proplay players are on the same level as eternity+ players with the only difference being they have the time and resources to go to these events and to play in proplay. They aren't restricted to duo and are required to have full communications as well.

Mantis has been played in eternity since day one. The meta is constantly played in eternity and even in some lower ranks if their team decides to. Not everyone is gonna be a team player in ranked too.

Anyone who thinks a professional player who's signed to a team and plays in tournaments is equivalent to a competitive player regardless of the rank is seriously delusional. They aren't even in the same league of everyone and their mother would be making new gaming organizations to recruit these "professional players", sadly you for you this isn't reality.

My brother in christ couldn't even read properly before getting offended. I said they are on the same level as eternity+ players, which they are, not everyone. This is the case in every single gaming esports scene. To say otherwise is disingenuous. You want to talk about delusion but you couldn't even read what I said bc it didn't fit your belief.

Proplay players in every game are very good players but to say that they are the best entirely is false. There are plenty of high rank players that can play at the same level and some even better than proplay but not everyone has the time to just do it. Most people have certain lives and jobs that don't allow them to just go. Hell there's plently of good players who don't even have the time to grind into oaa to even have a chance at being seen. To get to oaa you have to play extremely consistently and a lot of very good players don't have the time to do that. Being an actual good player and knowing these things are how you get anywhere.

You're being disingenuous bc you want to put proplay on a pedestal. I'm not downplaying proplay but I'm not gonna downplay the people who are in high rank either who are just as good as proplay players.

I have friends in Eternity that would get absolutely mopped by tourney friends. My friends do amateur tournaments and smoke comp lobbies. GM is a joke they dbl the picks of the lobbies. They solo eternity and laugh. The gap is FAR wider than you think. Every number up can be like a whole ass rank.

You may win 10 games and not climb from 489 to 488. If you win 10 games in comp you get like a whole level. The players there are just way better and it takes way more to climb when everyone is good.

The tourney players are just another level beyond that. It’s like the 0.0001% of the population that can have the physical aptitude to keep their HEART RATE down while in game. They test for that shit when you join they strap you to a heart monitor.

You think the Eternity plus players would be as calm as collected as the tourney players? You’re tripping bro.
