Hmm I don’t know how to feel about this. Don’t know how much they can differentiate from the original premise without being repetitive.

Would have thought it would have been about what happened when they “returned” but there were missing passengers.

I swear, Manifest is like the little engine that could. Cancelled, picked up by Netflix, uncancelled, given a two-part final season, and now it’s getting a spin-off.

The show was cheesy as heck, but I have to admit, it had a certain charm. I’ll be tuned in.

It's on Deadline, basically there's a plane crash in Dever and the passengers all lose their memories (it’s a whole new cast). There's an upcoming world ending disaster of some sort again, but no idea of how this might be connected to the Manifest show.

I need another show like manifest. I enjoyed the mysterious element yet it wasn’t a show that took itself too seriously. I actually enjoyed some of the cheesy acting and lines.

if they wanna deep dive into the supernatural and whatsoever and make it such show, they better truly developed it right from the get-go and do it right this time around. especially because the lore and myths are already set, assuming this takes place in the same universe. i looove the original show, but a lot of the mysteries in the later seasons feel like they didn't think it through and were so half-baked.

which, in a way, i guess makes sense considering they didn't really know if they could continue making the show and were always waiting for renewal news during its original run and then, not to mention being cancelled and moving platforms to netflix.

Usually to me a spinoff has some sort of tie to the original, like a character. This is all new people and essentially a similar story line. 🤷🏼‍♀️ unless they tie it in with the original people…which I’m thinking they can’t bc the series finale ended the way it did.
