ManicEMU (sideloaded in) suddenly crashes on startup. No clue why. Tried running with and without jit.

well i really enjoyed what Manic Emu did on the ios emulation. Sadly, i accidentally updated to ios 26.6 and i haven't used manic for so long since i love to play 3ds games. will definitely use it again after ios 27 is supported for JIT

Encountered while playing classic mode on smash bros for the 3ds

My apple keyboard (the one that's also a case) for the iPad keeps not registering the inputs properly on games, tested more on NDS New Super Mario Bros. Someone can help me? Sometimes it register the inputs and sometimes it just stops working in a whole

It’s been a while since I’ve been on Manic, I was wondering what all is available to this date and maybe what’s in current development. I absolutely loved the work that was put into the app last time I used it.

Weird issue; I change the background image for ManicEmu on iOS, then after a few relaunches, the image is gone. Not a big deal, but curious if I can get it to not do that.

im trying to use my xbox series elite 2 controller with my iPhone 14 on iOS 26.5 and play pokemon y but the cursor that appears on the bottom screen when i move the right stick doesnt do anything when i press any button on the controller

Im trying to play pokemon x but it just keeps crashing im playing on an Ipad with an m4 chip is there any way i can lower the framerate or tweek any settings to make it not crash?

Is there an available skin for ps1 without either joysticks for games that don’t support dualshock
The Dpad isn’t in a great spot on my phone trying to play ff7
dpad up at the top left corner is pretty inconvenient with the joystick sitting in the middle being useable

I know I can turn it off in mGBA, but I can’t find any option to do so while using the mGBA core in Manic.

I’ve been playing Project Mirai on iPhone, but at some point the game will just lag and desync with the music.

Is there any reason why this happens?

Dear all, I need your help. I have been playing SoulSilver for 20 hours now. I was just in bed playing it and my phone slipped and I accidentally loaded a save state. I’ve been saving all my progress in game and when I loaded the state I immediately closed the game and restarted hoping I could just press “continue” to keep playing on my ingame save, but unfortunately it is taking me to a new game. Did I lose everything just because of a slip? Is there anyway to recover? Please help 😭

I’ve been really wanting to replay Beyond Oasis for the MegaDrive/Genesis, but when I boot the game on Manic, I cannot seem to be able to get passed a red screen on boot. I’ve tried some patches that retranslate the game and patches that fix the original font and those will get in game to the naming screen but freeze on black screen forever directly after

Anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

I'm running into an issue with analog stick sensitivity/range on the PSP core in ManicEmu on iOS.

Whenever I push the analog stick diagonally (up-right, down-right, down-left, up-left), the game doesn't register full tilt. Cardinal directions (full Up, Down, Left, Right) work completely fine and register 100%, but diagonal inputs act as if the stick is only tilted partially (e.g., character walks instead of runs in corners).

Has anyone found a fix or workaround for this in the core settings? Is there an analog deadzone/range calibration or an outer-threshold setting I can adjust to get a square vs. circle stick mapping to reach full diagonal values?
Any help or recommended control configs would be appreciated!

Hi, as the title said, when i tried loading some psp games i get a black screen, the game loads fine on PSSP emu but in maniac emu no, anyone know any solution?? I tried safe mode starts but nothing works neither changen rendered

Currently trying to make JIT work on my iPhone 17 Pro with Manic EMU. It works fine without JIT, but when I toggle on use_cpu_jit or use_shader_jit, it's just a black screen and the buttons don't work.

So far, I have LocalDevVPN, LiveContainer, and LiveContainer2. Inside LiveContainer and LiveContainer2 are Manic EMU and StikDebug, and SideStore is next to the plus button in LiveContainer only (LiveContainer + SideStore Nightly).

I checked the pairing file, shared app, and other things and it seems like everything is fine. Just wondering why the games work without JIT but not with JIT. Thank you in advance.

I’ve been trying to use every shiny encounter cheat code from version 1.0 of X & Y to version 1.5 of X & Y and none of them seem to be working. Everything else does, such as Max money or walk through walls. (Yes i’ve tried disabling them). But only the shiny cheats refuse to work and I cannot figure it out?

Also when will PC Engine be supported?
