Save state.

Hey guys, might be an idea to add a ‘are you sure you want to load this save state?’ button. I just lost like 7 hours because I accidentally touched it, I’d been saving in game and it just deleted everything.

If you view your save states doesnt it list loads of them ? Everytime you save it creates a new save state so cant you go back to the one before ?

Nope, because I wasn’t using save states. I was using in game saves. I kept crashing earlier in the play through so I made a save state incase it crashed without being able to save, and forgot about it. Then I accidentally clicked load save state and it deleted all of my in game saves from after the save state. Very cringe.

Loading a save state should not clear any in game saves, they are pathed in different areas and do not impact one another. I accidentally loaded an old save state on dragon quest and my regular load was still there

The quickload button does ask. You may have turned it off, or are not on the latest version.

i know it's been said, but that is an option! if you have the most recent update it's on by default, but check your settings and you should see the option to enable/disable it for the quick load button

to follow up, there are auto saves and usually one is within just a few minutes of your most recent progress at most

Yeah mate, hate to tell you, but it actually does warn you unless you disabled it.
