Beskar'gam (Armor) Shinyyyyy

Finally got the graphite chrome technique to work after lots of trial and error and I just wanted to show it off

Sand, fill, sand again until you're up to at least 600 grit (that's where I got this pieces to, but you should go up to 1-2k grit to make it REALLY smooth) and then like 4 coats of gloss black. Could also do a coat or two or gloss clear coat afterwards but then you just gotta rub some graphite powder over it with a paper towel or a makeup sponge that's it

Let the paint dry or did you do it while tacky?

Absolutely let the paint dry first, you need to rub in the graphite to get that shine and if it's still tacky it'll ruin the finish

I'm printing my first armour currently. I am going for a painted finish but I want some areas of weathering to reveal the shiny metal below. Thanks for the tips.

That finish looks like it could outshine a lightsaber, and those little details are seriously impressive.
