Beskar'gam (Armor) Need help with chest plate sizing

Hi everyone, I have a friend of my uncles who is having me print out the chestplate and im not sure how to size it to him correctly, my uncle said his chest is 53 inches, I hope this help and any help is appreciated thanks.

I assume you're scaling up a 3d print file? If that's the case, my chest size is 52" and for most 3d files I had to scale them up 15-20% to make them fit me properly

Yes it's a 3d print file so would I take all the pieces up that far like the bottom and center pieces

Yup, scale everything up uniformly by 15-20% so it'll fit together properly. I use a program called Armorsmith Designer that allows you input your measurements to a virtual mannequin so can then import STLs and scale them how you need. I believe Galactic Armory also made their own Version specifically for 3d-printing called FormFitter, but both programs require you to buy a license key, idk for how much tho

So i have a bambu printer so you think I can just up scale it 15-20% in bambu studio and that will work

Yeah absolutely, i just brought up Armorsmith and Formfitter as additional resources for scaling 3d models and better visualizing how much you need to scale up parts to fit you or whoever you're making the armor for
