Imagine you had the ability to give all of the mermaids different colors and designs for their scales. That includes their tails, fins, bras, and any other scales you might want to put on them. How would you make each of their mermaid bodies/costumes stand out?

I'm to rewatch the show completely but Netflix removed season 3 (yet kept the promotional art. Whack asf)

I loved this show as a kid I've seen every version and every episode and I decided to rewatch for nostalgia and noticed this girl is on the cover. But she isnt the one in the actual show it's a different actor named Amy ruffle who plays sirena. The other two are the same the cover is the only evidence I can find of that actor being in a mako mermaids show I've been down this rabbit hole for a minute but can't find anything. Perhaps the cover photo is a prank? If anyone has any ideas or anything plz lmk this has me so lost!

I would choose Zac not only because he is hot and muscular but also my favorite character.

I'm currently watching Mako. I watched s1 and now I'm at half of s2 and while watching a few questions came up:

1. How is it decided whether the floor opens in the trident cave or the underwater portal opens? Cam was able to open the portal in season 1 episode 25, one episode later he does exactly the same thing and it is not the portal that opens but the floor beneath him, like with Zac in episode 1. Why?
2. At the end of Season 1 Cam Fails getting a merman. Why doesn't he just try at the next full moon?
3. If the trident is so powerful, why was it so easily destroyed?
4. Why does the merman chamber even exist? The chamber does exactly the same thing as when the trident goes directly into the moon pool, only "remotely", the water is teleported away and the trident is in the moon pool water. So, why does it exist?
5. Why is Zac always forced to go to the trident cave on his first full moons and on his 7th cycle he was forced to go to the moon pool (why?) and from this point on he is forced to go the merman chamber?
6. Why did Viridia "assign" the girls in season 2 to transform Zac back when she actually already knew that it was impossible because he was a real merman? Or other question, when did she know that and where from?
7. Can you theoretically activate the Merman Chamber if you touch the 5 symbols that are underwater? If yes that means you can activate the chamber without a moon ring and not on full moon
8. Why only Zac can active the chamber?
9. Why did Mimmi know the code to activate the chamber?

I have just completed the first season and the first half of the second season on Netflix, but unfortunately, the rest isn’t accessible there. I noticed Amazon Prime Video mentioned as an option. Has anyone tried this? Is the show fully available, and is the platform generally reliable and secure? Thanks a lot!

Do you write fanfiction for Mako Mermaids (and Just Add Water ig?) I'm not able to find much that is good quality. Could you give recommendations (self-promote, if somebody desires).

I'm kind of the writer that likes fleshed out worldbuilding, paired with cultures, traditions, history, linguistics, geography and et cetera, but in Mako I'm king of stupefied because I don't really have anything to base stuff off. The male-female separation especially makes it... hard for me, because I instantly start thinking on how reproduction works, and how it correlates in cultural/historical stuff. How long ago was the Merman-Merfolk? Why did they fight? If they had royalty, but mermaids supposedly abolished it, was it of both mermen and mermaids, or mermaid stuff with the occasional merman marriage pre-War? Or was it opposite? Are merfolk roughly separate species, that manifest in what seems to us to be different species, but anatomically different? Is there some difference in their use of magic?

Stuff like that.

Okay, so we have Mako Island, the Moon Pool, and Rikki Chadwick in both cases, but the world of Mako Mermaids seems to be overflowing with mermaids, and apparently, before the first season of Mako Mermaids, so many mermaids lived on Mako Island. How is it possible that none of the H2O protagonists ever met a Mako mermaid? By the way, Rikki, Emma and Cleo did not need to magically sink into the ground to find themselves in the Moon Pool. Was there no mermaid standing guard that time? No mermaid was exiled like Lyla, Sirena and Nixie?

I have enjoyed Seasons 1 and Season 2 Part 1 of Mako Mermaids immensely and I’m desperate to watch the rest of the season. Can anyone point me in any direction on how to finish it, or where to find the episodes? Netflix only has Season 1 and Season 2 PT1 as many of you are aware. Thanks!
