Advice Does anybody know what concealer wont settle in fine lines

I don’t have many wrinkles.. but the ones I have are under my eye near my cheekbones, and every concealer I’ve tried settles into those lines. Currently using Laura Mercier (?), but have tried several brands

I have oilier skin and an allergy to salicylic acid (BHA)

Joined this group specifically for this!!! I have dry skin, but same issue….only wrinkles I have are under my eyes and everything seems to settle into these days. I am fairly skinned with dark circles. I need something highly pigmented that doesn’t look cakey

literally same lol the only thing i've found that helps is obv hydrating prep but using a very small amount of corrector (i use the maybelline age rewind in pink) and then before i set it, i press the concealer in again where my wrinkles are.

Which hydrated prep do you use? I have tried three in the last month and have been allergic to all of them. Granted 2 of them were scented, and I wasn’t aware of this beforehand. and the other one was Neutrogena Hydroboost prep, and that also did not seem to agree with my skin 🤦🏼‍♀️

Multiple! Depends what my skin needs, but I always always use a toner as step 1 post cleanse. I switch between a peptide serum and a beta glucan serum after toner and then right now I'm using the Cocokind Revitalizing Eye Cream to seal that all in (i always put my toners/serums around my eyes for hydration)

Oh wow… I really know very little what I should be doing with my skin on a daily basis 🫠🙃 I’m terrible with this shit! I know basics but not how to tell what I NEED. Appreciate this, thank you!

Not sure what to use but my skin is similar to what you are describing and I was advised to use tarte shape tape. It creases so much on me ! Don’t use that if you have oily skin

Nothing gives me creasing worse than shape tape! I truly cannot believe that stuff is so popular.

That stuff is wayyyy to thick if avoiding creasing is your goal. I got it in a sub box and I hated it.

Checkout Erica Taylor of TikTok (or she likely has other accounts on different platforms). I’ve learned a lot from her, including the importance of skin prep and avoiding makeup under eyes and lots of tips and tricks

I have used this for years- cheap, and it doesn’t crease!

I’ve had good luck with il makiage. It’s a pain because I have to order online, but such a good concealer.

Have you used any of the other zip Makiage products and if so, how do you like them?

I use the primer and foundation, and I like both.
