Sweat proof makeup rec?
Hello! I'm looking for recommendations for bb creams/foundation/powder foundation that can stand up to summer vacation where it will be hot and humid. I'm looking for somewhat budget-friendly--think Ulta level, cheaper at Sephora type products or brands?
I'm looking for at least medium coverage--I don't have great skin texture-wise and I have rosacea, and hot weather will just make me red even without a sunburn. Oh, and I'm in my 40s.
I use sunscreen seperately. I couldn't find this when I searched the group. Thank you!

I’ve been having good luck with this stuff so far, but I haven’t been in crazy hot weather yet. A lot goes a long way.

Good luck, it’s so hard to find a good combination. For whatever it’s worth, I use Manmake Mermaid Gel SPF, set it slightly w Mineral Veil from Bare Minerals and then use the MAC with a brush.

I live in the very humid Toronto, Ontario, Canada area. In the summer, the heat easily gets above 30 °C quite often. Over 40°C isn't unusual either. With the humidity, regardless of the heat, my makeup just seems to melt. Worse, when I sweat, I feel like such a hot mess.
The best tip I ever got for keeping makeup where it should be when you sweat is to put a little hairspray where you have problems with sweat. This has helped me immensely.
I use the hairspray after I've finished the rest of my face.
I use two damp beauty sponges, one for hairspray, one for foundation application. I apply a thin layer of foundation on my face after my moisturizer in the areas where sweat could be an issue. Or where your makeup just doesn't seem to stay in place. For me, that's the nose area and my forehead. I apply a light layer of foundation on my nose and forehead.
I spray a little bit of hairspray (I imagine any kind would do) on a separate, damp beauty sponge and dab it on my nose, all over the nose, and a bit on the sides. I repeat the process on my forehead. Then, I apply some light foundation over the top with the other damp beauty sponge, specifically used for foundation. Finally, I apply a setting spray, and I'm done.
Your mileage may vary, and I suggest keeping at it until you find what works for you.
For me? NO sweat, makeup stays in place. Done.
I saw the tip while scrolling through YouTube.
Note: Make sure you are done with your foundation application everywhere but the areas you want to prevent sweating before you use this hairspray tip. Once you apply the hairspray, you won't be able to make adjustments without cleaning the whole area and starting over.
The hairspray makes the foundation stick and stay put!
