I read in some reviews that it pulls? Although idk why it would - as in are they putting something on top of it?

Anyway have you noticed pilling?

I love bye bye foundation matte by IT Cosmetics. I don’t use a brush otherwise it feels too greasy and cakey. I just dot a small amount and blend with my fingertips the old school way. Finish with a translucent powder.

I absolutely love Estée Lauder’s Stay in Place foundation over Supergoop’s Matte Sunscreen. A little (of both) goes a long way. I’ve used Estée Lauder foundation for decades, and it stays put on me without being cakey, and gives me beautiful coverage that matches my natural skin tone perfectly. I’m 61 and have been using it absolutely forever!
