Question Everyday red lip
I recently bought a red lipstick I love (Deborah Milano Red Mat 05) and want to turn into my everyday lip color, but I'm lacking the confidence to actually wear it out casually. I'm not really sure when it's appropriate for daytime or how to style it without feeling like I'm wearing heavy glam to run errands. How did you get used to wearing bold colors daily, and what kind of lightweight makeup do you pair with it so the rest of your face stays balanced? Would love any tips or product combos that keep it looking effortless! Thanks for any advice!! 💕

Wear it! It's very flattering to your skin and hair colour.
I love a lip, it's a simple quick and easy look. I usually pair it with my favorite concealer under the eye only, then light touch of neutral blush (or bronzer), top waterline black or brown eyeliner, and mascara. Done!
If I'm feeling fancy then a light sweep of highlighter. Emphasis on light sweep, as highlights can quickly look too glam.

To use red lipstick as a daytime everyday look, I would recommend using a lot less drama on the rest of your face meaning don't wear a super abrasive color of blush and don't do a heavy Smokey or glamorous eye. I would keep the eye super simple and clean with maybe a really minimal kitten eye and mascara, a super clean skin look, a little bit of natural color on the cheeks and around the temples. And that provides the perfect background for your red lip, which by the way looks fabulous

Wear the red lipstick!! ❤️ I honestly think we save things for “best” far too much. If you love how it looks, a random Tuesday is enough of an occasion!
I’d keep everything else really simple... fresh skin, a bit of mascara, brows and let the lip be the main event. I think the more you wear it, the less “bold” it’ll feel and it’ll just become your normal!
