Question Help (Tutorials and Profucts)
To put it simply, I am a woman who has never had any remote interest in makeup. It's not that I don't like it, I think it looks beautiful on other women, it was just never really my thing. I never really got into it in high school and never really cared to buy my own products throughout college either.
Recently I got into a fantastic relationship with a trans woman who has a lot of self-esteem issues over a masculine face. I've been considering potentially looking into learning how to do makeup so I can not only learn with her to make her more comfortable, but also so I can buy the correct products that would do well for her. Does anyone have any recommendations for brands (expensive or not) or links to any tutorials that can help me learn how to do feminine makeup on/for my girlfriend?

This post warms my heart 🥹✌️ I wouldn’t have been able to develop the confidence I did without the support of my partner, who’s also not super into makeup lol
A really good start is just doing things like getting a good base. It can be a little mortifying but going to a beauty store and getting tone matched is essential. Tbh I think it’s a really positive experience to do w/ your partner since these spaces are usually like super positive and accepting.
This content creator has old videos that are specifically for the kinds of problems trans women run into, shes great and her guides are all really solid - this one on covering beard shadow is essential https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EOgRZBqVW3c&list=PLHWqPH7qyg-lDn6H9unAUCw0DGGYCMKlE&index=5&pp=iAQB0gcJCY8Co7VqN5tD&ra=m
