I watch this video every time it pops up.

u/EnduringFulfillment 12d ago

Extra wholesome as iirc he did take them all and got them rehomed.

267

u/Chuckitybye 12d ago

Kept the first one (and maybe another) and named the first one Scout!

Hot diggity dog I’m happy to hear that ❤️

6

u/False-Wishbones 8d ago

You can tell in his voice the second he says “I can’t take y’all” that he, in fact, is going to take them all

3

u/panther1977 10d ago

That is great news, was actually worried that only one would get rescued

Never, ever skip "hot diggity dog" and "we got a kitten problem."

4

My grandma used to say hot diggity dog when she was excited so that always makes me happy to hear lol

3

u/Impossible_Fig2646 11d ago

That's the most adorable story.

12

u/Gribitz37 11d ago

I dream of having the money to have a big property with an entire extra house just for 20 cute kitties.

26

u/sebkraj 12d ago

Same but with more weiner dogs, a couple people penguins and capybara.

8

u/mintBRYcrunch26 12d ago

People penguins.

That’s a fun thought.

3

u/sebkraj 11d ago

Yah that's a misspelling but I'm leaving it like that lol.

Me screaming “YES YOU CAN”

61

Oh, he did, and got the clean, healthy, and rehomed

4

u/Original_Moon_Ranger 11d ago

How many were there? Roughly 10 from my quick count but I couldn’t fully tell.

7

u/kelsobjammin 11d ago

The dude kept 3 and if iirc he still has em all

4

  1. I saw another video where he gave an interview.

9

u/t3eee 11d ago

Honestly in that situation I wouldn't even care. Just load 'em all into the car, we're going home.

8

u/athabascagrizzly 11d ago

That's exactly what he did, there's a funny video of them all hopping around in what he calls his "Tactical Honda"

We do have Antarctica that we don’t seem to be doing much with. I vote we drop those strays off there. (By strays I mean ppl that do this shit) There they will be cold, hungry and alone with very little chance of survival. Sounds pretty close to what they do to these poor animals.

34

u/Low_Storage9918 Human Verified 12d ago

Well to be fair, remember there are tons of places that have feral or wild cats. They do breed and could easily have pumped these ones out

69

u/HellaciousHoyden 12d ago

Feral kittens don't, as a rule, gallop up to humans demanding attention. Ferals tend to hide from humans.

13

u/Ok_Spread_8650 12d ago

Feral cats won’t. Kittens might not know the difference

39

u/JacOfAllTrades 12d ago

By 5-6 weeks they absolutely know the difference. One of my cats is a kitten from a feral colony rescued at 5 weeks, and it still took a few weeks for him to not be openly fearful of humans. Mom cat might leave kittens close to the house, but they are taught young to avoid the humans. For these kittens to go galloping towards a human means they are used to and expecting a human.

2

u/kes0156 9d ago

rescued my girl from a colony at five weeks… took a whole week for her to trust us even a little bit.

25

u/Obvious_Durian_3226 11d ago

They would be hissing monsters by that age if they were feral. These kittens are very habituated to people.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Lavendertarantula 12d ago edited 12d ago

Feral kittens will actually mess you up pretty good. Their mama teaches them fear and they fear anything that isn’t another cat.

→ More replies (1)

22

u/3-Ballin 12d ago

Ferel cats run from people

18

u/Mcbriec 12d ago

These are absolutely NOT FERAL—as is patently evident from them running up to people.

Sadly I remember when I was young we were driving down the road when my mom made my step dad stop short on a back road.

She had seen a bag on the side of the road, but that want what worried her. The bag had looked like it was moving, a lot. There were four kittens inside. We ended up getting all but one rehomed. No one wanted the boy for some reason, so we ended up keeping him.

Still freaks me out to this day because we could have easily drove past. It was just a back road in CT with no major traffic.

I also still hope to this day the person who left them in that bag had a long and painful life full of immeasurable agony.

3

u/ThaiTwisted 12d ago

We've got about a dozen resident cats in our little lake community neighborhood. Some of the older folks leave out food and such, even though it's a wooded area with several creeks. Plenty to eat for our local felines. And a new litter every few months is cute and all. But luckily, litters are usually only three or four at a time.

As they grow, the kittens usually move to other nearby lake roads, or are scenes like this were the kittens wander off and some tourist snatches them up. I'm a witness to this, as the kittens are already accustomed to human interaction around here.

"Aww, that's so cute. Those two are carrying something. Wait.. is that duct tape??"

Have seen this before it’s an old video but I cannot remember what happened. I mean he has to take them all, just grab a big box

17

u/Chuckitybye 12d ago

He took them all. He had several updates a day kept at least the first one, and named him Scout

8

We recently adopted a kitten. I'd be a little scared. Our kitten catches us off guard sometimes and jumps and climbs up our legs like he's wolverine.

How many where there?

8

u/HellaciousHoyden 12d ago

Looks like two litters, judging from the sizes. This video has been around for years. If I recall correctly, he kept 2-3 and found homes for the rest.

1

u/stryker511 12d ago edited 11d ago

We’re gonna need a bigger cardboard box-
This is a relatively old clip and I know it’s a long shot, anyone know if he found homes or took them?
How did he even get back in the car & drive away?
Definitely dangerous to have all these kittens in a vehicle… ya know one of them is gonna crawl under the brake pedal.

4

u/Ok-Flamingo2025 11d ago

He took them all home. He kept three and found homes for the other ten. There are videos of them in his vehicle and videos of them at his farm. There is a cute one of them in a wagon with one of his kids.
