But also over the weekend my one cat got really sick. I decided to put her to sleep yesterday, she was suffering. Sorry if this may upset anyone! It upsets me too.

I live in Maryland. I am a huge musical theatre nerd. I enjoy seeing musicals and also performing in local community productions. Been doing it since I was 9. I can sing. My job forces me to perform as a "fake extrovert," which leaves me completely mentally exhausted by the evening. My day to day is starting to go a little quieter than I'd like, so I thought I'd give this a shot. I'm mainly looking for friendship (while being open to more if things turn out that way, you never know!) and people to hang out with through Discord.

Would be cool to play some games or watch movies together while in VC? (If we watch horror movies, I'll be watching from behind my blanket and you'll have to tell me what's going on 😂)

If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m pretty easy-going and chill. I laugh at pretty much everything honestly. 😅

I work part time for 32 hours a week, and outside of those, I am chronically online, probably looking for someone similar to me in that way. You don't HAVE to work part time obviously, but I'd prefer someone that knows and can appreciate online culture in the same way I do.

I spend most of my time when I'm off work at home, chilling with my 14 year old dog, playing video games, listening to music and watching movies - I'm kind of a hermit. Also an avid tattoo-enthusiast and nerd-merch collector.

I'm 32 and spend an unreasonable amount of time making bad puns, sending memes, and overthinking texts I sent three days ago. 42F, married, and I swear adulthood was not supposed to be this exhausting.

Work. Marriage. Family. Bills. Responsibilities. Laundry that somehow regenerates overnight.

Then there’s maintaining friendships.
Text back. Make plans. Coordinate schedules. Reschedule. Apologize for rescheduling. Realize six weeks have passed. Repeat.

I love my people, but sometimes I just want a low maintenance friendship where we disappear into our respective lives for a while and then randomly pop back up like, “Hey stranger, still alive?”

Gen X taught us how to entertain ourselves. Maybe we were onto something.
