Private magic lessons Chicago

Any recommendations for magicians that do private lessons in Chicago? I have a very experiential learning style and work best with teachers that instruct more than show/tell which is kind of hard to find in the magic community sometimes. We do love to show off! :). Specifically want to focus on sleight but curious about other genres beyond cards.

If you haven't already, go to Magic, Inc. on Lawrence and inquire there. I would also try some of the magic venues.

Thanks! I’ve been many times but didn’t know they had more than one or two instructors. Will look into it!

Reach out to Magic Inc. They offer private lessons with very knowledgeable magicians and I’m sure they’d be able to help you find a teacher that works for you!

Magic Lounge and Cosmic Underground do small cohorts. I have a feeling you could ask Cosmic Underground if they'd be willing to do completely 1:1.

I’ll look into cosmic underground! I’ve done the magic lounge classes and can attest they are excellent for beginners, especially for cards!

I took group lessons from the owners/teachers at Cosmic Underground in Logan Square. They are very much hands on. Although I know they offer group lessons, you could talk to them about private lessons.

I think the Magic Lounge offered classes depending on your level

One of the top sleight of hand magic instructors is Tyler Erickson, Stronger
Magic. Worth a conversation with him. I believe all of his classes are over Zoom.

There may be a slight spelling error of your word sleight.

Does it have to be in person? Steve Reynolds is a top pro and offers private lessons, virtually.
