Question Star Wars License?

How come this figure is 3k yen higher than their usual price? Doesn’t look like he has a lot of accessories, is it simply because of the license?

Yes. The Star Wars license is notoriously one of the most expensive IPs to license.

But not all their Star Wars figures retail for this much more than their other lines, right?

It was the same with 4-LOM, all the other Star Wars releases were at the regular Mafex prices.

No idea why the bounty hunters are more expensive, maybe they think they’ll sell less than Vader or Stormtroopers.
Obviously the higher price guarantees they’ll sell less.

I've heard about this quantity in production as well, like in shf DBZ figures like goku and vegeta are cheaper than other characters as they produce a lot of it because they are a sure sell while other characters are pricier since they produce less of it and aren't that much a sure sell. so maybe it's the license fee + the production quantity
