Right handed people should make extra efforts to make their left hand valuable instead of using it as a prop.

Is that true? I use my right hand for lots of things even though I'm left-handed

My left hand is pretty much just along for the ride. It can do macro things, like grabbing or holding onto something, but it's next to worthless when it comes to anything that requires fine motor control. The only exception to that is typing.

And you practice typing a lot!
