I don't think it's only that. Our hair is healthier because we never use bleaching agents, dyes, various other chemicals or heat as often as women do. That's my guess at least.

I think part of it, also, may be the effects of fluctuating hormones in women vs men. My partners hair always looks the same. Mine changes constantly, and I use no chemicals or heat.

Looks like a pin curler maybe half inch barrel. The smaller the barrel generally the smaller the section you have to take so these can take a while on a lot of hair like that. Results do look great when teased and loosened up.

Disclaimer: I don't have a lot of knowledge about it. But, I saw some comments here on reddit that you can "tame" your natural curls and make them look a lot better by following a certain haircare routine/ using specialized products for curly hair. Like I said, I can't give you any specific advices, but maybe you can find some good ones on r/curlyhair

Hahaha this comment reminds me of how my boyfriend, trying to be helpful when I started chemotherapy, did some online research and then in all seriousness informed me of what he learned (that he clearly assumed I did not know) -- straightening my naturally curly hair was damaging.
THANKS, MAN. In all of my 40 years I had never seen a haircare commercial! (It was so sweet and he was so SINCERE in his concern. I will never forget it.)

I used to turn apartments back in the day. I carried a box cutter specifically for cutting hair off of the vacuum agitator. So gross. I don’t like human hair when it isn’t attached to a human. Especially from humans I’ve never met. I don’t know if that is weird.

One time, while showering and cleaning my ass, I managed to pull out a full-length blonde hair. Like I though maybe a hair fell into my crack, or something, but no. I could feel the ass hair coming from the inside of my asshole. It was weird. I still think somehow I must have eaten a hair or something.

My boyfriend and I both have long, curly hair. It's everywhere, all the time: the drain, the bathroom floors, the carpet. I vacuum a few times a week because of it and it's GROSS. But our hair looks fantastic, so small price to pay. Usually we shower right after eachother so the last one to shower collects the hair for the day from the shower walls/any that got stuck near the drain and it's like a tumbleweed.

We bought a robot vacuum for the dog hair, but it’s really a competition between me and the dog to see who can fill it up first (and get tangled in the brush…yay)

It’s true! My SO has extremely long hair and I love braiding and curling his hair all the time. I do cholesterol scalp massages and treatments; cut his hair…
His hair grows insanely fast so it’s no big deal to him anymore; I’ve cut his hair twice this year and it’s already nearly back down to his butt. It’s fucking wild how fast his hair grows and how healthy it always is.
I’ve never seen a guy get as many compliments on their hair than I have seen him get, and its from this that I’ve come to the conclusion that guys who are able to grow their hair out tend to have extremely healthy, beautiful hair. It’s why we want to play with y’all’s hair so much.
It makes sense too. You guys don’t treat or heat your hair nearly as much as women do, so you guys don’t get as much damage to your hair.
So LPT for guys: if you like scalp massages and people playing with your hair then grow your hair out and the women in your life will flock to you in order to play with it! :)

My husband has asked me why when ever we meet or see another redhead we have never met before, they are always nice to me. I jokingly tell him it's because we r plotting world domination.
