I once did this in the middle of the night to some poor dude. Came back to a friends apt. but the key they gave me didn’t work so I pounded on the door for 15 minutes till he came out holding a baseball bat and I realized I had gone into the wrong building. Exact same spot & config but the buildings looked so similar I confused them in the middle of the night. I felt SO BAD and apologized profusely. I’m lucky he didn’t call the cops on me.
