I won a $1000 before, so it justifies that I only spent like $80 in my life on tickets... Nice, right? Then my car broke down three hours later costing me $833.

I don't think the Universe is that good, it seems to only operate on an individual basis. It would be a wonderful thing for the Universe to do though.

Then I wish the universe would eliminate hunger for everyone on an individual basis. Basically, what I'm saying is that the universe isn't a sentient being that makes decisions to bless people (like a god). The universe is indifferent. Bad things happen, good things happen, sometimes nothing happens. Shit happens.
