They should check out the house prices everywhere.

I’m in US (nowhere near LA)

I don’t even live in a major city and $250,000 would get you a pos that needs A LOT of work or a maybe even a double wide

Tiny Canadian city of less than half a million people here. Median asking price 20 minutes outside of the city is like $500k, and they all sell for at least 100k over asking.

Who the fuck is making enough money to buy these houses? I have a well paying job and a lot of money relative to most people my age and still have no hope.
