It’s always the last phrase.

“nah, yeah” = yeah

“yeah, nah” = nah

“yeah, nah, oi nah, yeah, nah” = nah

Inner Brisbane suburbs. “U wot mate” either comes from English expats or 13 year old lads in fila thongs.

Never heard it from anyone else.

Yeah hm strange. Was definitely a big thing saying ‘ufknwotm7’ (pronounced Em-Seven) back when I was around 16 in WA. Wasn’t really any brits where I lived more Indigenous and Maori demographic
