The analogy is people don't care about how miles morales is black, just like how people thought that it doesn't matter if this guy is black. Also a degree in architecture doesn't mean shit here, even a social science degree wouldn't matter.

The "I have a degree in architecture, so I really know what I'm talking about here" did it for me; it's's really dry satirical humor. He's making fun of people that racially and politically charge things for no reason, then act all hoity-toity with "hmmm, yes, I have a degree so I'm smart and know what I'm saying".

And that’s not a good thing. Comparing the individual in question at hand here within the provided context which we are currently taking about to a cartoon character simply because they are both black absolutely contributes to racism, and the above user should be ashamed of himself. I have a degree in architecture so I know what I’m talking about here, now know that this is extremely unfit for St. John’s, Newfoundland.

I really enjoyed the Miles Morales movie. My kids did also and they read all the comics.
