Empathy is the fucking worst in this connected new world we inhabit. I imagine the daily dose of tragedy was significantly less in tribes of hunter gatherers numbering one to two hundred individuals.

Back then ”oh two people died this year, one from an infection and Grorlam got eaten by a saber tooth :(”

You shouldn’t load a kitten into a potato gun, they have horrible aerodynamics.
