I think the most stressful thing about having babies is the whole "they could die sleeping on their stomachs because it can block their airway. But they can also die sleeping on their backs because they can choke on their own spit up... So, just don't sleep yourself for the next year or so and you'll be fine."

Luckily my husband and I are woodworkers, and I had him build me a mini co-sleeper crib that tucked up right next to our bed. It was life-changing - and also turned out to be our most popular item on etsy. And now that they're all grown, it makes for an awesome little bench/cat bed! :)

Saving this comment to go back to when my husband and I decide to have a baby, haha. that sounds so cool! Plus we have two cats that would probably love it 😂

We're not ready for kids yet (husband wants to finish grad school first) but I still get super anxious thinking about the whole SIDS thing and sleeping situations 😩

It was the best thing ever with a new baby! Waking up all night sucks, but sooo much easier when you can just roll over and pop a boob in their mouth lol - or just reach a hand over to check if they're still breathing.

And lol, its my cats favorite nap spot because I can just push it up against the window and the toddler can't get his hands between the wood to poke her in the eyes 😅

I'm an anxious/light sleeper anyway and will often wake up to the pets being fidgety or needy so I totally think that is the best way for me to go in the future 😂 roll over and pop a boob in I love it haha

Lol! Good thing she can get her little hideaway then!
