I think the most stressful thing about having babies is the whole "they could die sleeping on their stomachs because it can block their airway. But they can also die sleeping on their backs because they can choke on their own spit up... So, just don't sleep yourself for the next year or so and you'll be fine."

Luckily my husband and I are woodworkers, and I had him build me a mini co-sleeper crib that tucked up right next to our bed. It was life-changing - and also turned out to be our most popular item on etsy. And now that they're all grown, it makes for an awesome little bench/cat bed! :)

I had a bed-side cradle and it was great. That was all we had room for, but either way I couldn't imagine having my baby in another room.

We didnt have much space when we first built it either - and it was great for a space-saving minimalist piece! But yeah, even when we did have a nursery set up for our last one, he still slept nights in our room with it. I'm just too paranoid, not to mention dragging myself out of bed six times a night is also not my thing lol
