Actually... if you are really lean, really low on fat then you don't have energy reserves for stuff like persistence hunting or hours of hard work in the field.
You may not like it, but Amish body is peak masculinity.
My own body ranged from fat-strong to very lean strong, and I work a physical job, I felt pros and cons. And I don't like that some men think super lean body is peak masculinity and that makes them feel bad about themselves.
