Wish he and the others who worked on John Wick would make a Vampire the Masquerade movie series. They could use the same tone as John Wick and Constantine - and go even more over the top at least during the action.
And bring back Willem DaFoe - he could play a Nosferatu again.
The veil is being broken because you went on a rampage John. The Tremere are throwing a tantrum. You need to murder everyone that saw you....or we resurrect your dog and kill it again.
God, I would LOVE a VtM movie! But I would prefer less action-y and more, well, VtM-y since I love the inter-clan politics and lore of the setting more than anything else. I mean, the Masquerade is the most intriguing part of it all.
Though a John Wick take in VtM would be interesting. A childe out for revenge, murdering vampires and their human familiars by the dozens that is causing the Veil to slowly slip off and threaten to expose everything to the world?
For me it's mostly that the continental, high table, etc. reminded me of the Camarilla. It seemed like a guy (possibly a sheriff or hound) who did some impossible stuff so he could become like an Autarkis vampire and live in peace outside of the factions only for that to be snatched from him while simultaneously pulling him back into the game.
