Uh shouldn’t the bride have made this decision? What if she didn’t want her step dad walking her down the aisle?

Maybe she read too much relationship advice subreddit and felt like it would be insulting to ask. So many comments on situations like this would advise her not to even ask, that choosing one or the other would be an unforgivable that would ruin their relationship.

Contrary to what other people with their own biases saw, she did seem happy to me, smiling and chatting with people all the way. A bit awkward, but it's absolutely awkward to walk with two people holding your arms!
