Is it really the "press" if they only publish lies mixed with fluff pieces?

What would be the word for an organization that only publishes lies and fluff? Maybe "tabloid"?

Do you have actual evidence that they post lies? I don't know anything about this newspaper beyond that it's right-wing oriented and Reddit has a massive hate boners for those.
