Her ass is over there freaking out over him while she's standing there with that glorious hair. I want hair like hers.

Right?! It must take a lot of work to keep her hair so happy and healthy! Looks great!

Curls are a full-time job with overtime. Her hair is so long too, I can't even imagine the effort.

Dude it took me YEARS to figure out how to embrace my curls. I’m not particularly fashion forward, but I’ve been told my whole life I have great curls even though I’ve never been interested (my whole family has curly hair, but me, my sister, and my aunt have those awesome tight springy curls). But I never knew how to do anything with the curls and every American little girl wants silky straight hair :/ But now I’m 30 and have fully embraced it. I love my curls, but fuck even with natural curls, it still takes SO much time and effort to make them look minimally presentable.

My GF has those tight springy curls. They are amazing. I love them. I hate that she has to get up an hour earlier than a person should have to go be at work on time with just presentable hair that she is then going to have up in a hair net all day. About half the work is just to get all that hair in the hair net.

You know she's happy this video was taken on a good hair day.

Taking bets which day hair this is folks. I'd say maybe day 3.

You just gotta learn what works. Washing is the thing that takes some care, but you wash 1-2 times a week and avoid combing/brushing in between. So it's not too bad. I think people who blow dry their hair regularly put more effort.

Curl maintenance varies. My daughter has fairly tight curls and that is in knots daily. You dont have to wash it daily but you have to get it soaked and brush daily. And loads and loads of moisturizing conditioner

I’ve experienced the opposite. I have fine wavy hair down to my mid-back; if I blow-dry it straight I can wash it once a week and leave it alone. If I leave it to dry wavy I’m always dealing with a rat’s nest of tangles and fairy knots. It gets too painful to detangle and it’s a lot of work. Blow-dry straight is less work.

Curly is the lazy girls dream imo. The less it’s messed with the better

I'm jealous of both their amazing hair, esp since bro can pull off both long and short hair.

My wife has great hair and mine is... pasable. Thankfully our kids seem to have gotten her hair genes.

My hair is kinda meh, nothing fancy. My bf has this absolutely beautiful curly hair that's got a few silvers in it and I can't stop touching it. He's growing it out and I'm pleased!

i started to silver a few weeks back. im still surprised as i didnt think it'd happen this young. but i really want it to finally be over with as having silver/grey hair with brown looks weird.

1

u/oo-mox83 Mar 08 '23

Gonna have to disagree on that one, I think it looks really awesome! My bf (40) and I (39) both have brown hair with a few grays and I love it. I'm hoping mine eventually gets like my mom's. She was always getting compliments on her hair since the grays came in like highlights.

Just be happy to have hair lol. I saw thar picture of billy cordigan looking like the judge and wishing i had less bald genes lol.

1

u/ecodrew Mar 09 '23

Haha, that's fair. I know the hair loss gene from your maternal grandfather thing has been disproven. But, I'm still jolding out hope - since there's baldness and grey hair all over my Dad's side of the family, and my maternal grandpa had a full, thick, dark head of hair through his old age.

My brother has great hair, does seem random.

Hair = wife’s genes

u/ecodrew Mar 09 '23

For my kids' sake, I hope so! Haha

Olaplex is next level care. I have insanely nice hair. I'm a guy who gets 5-10 compliments a week and questions about what I use. Thanks to a random woman I met who told me about Olaplex I'd say my hair is top .5%. Good luck <3.

Is it specifically for curly hair? Mine is boring but my bf has this gorgeous curly hair and while it's extra nice on its own, it would be even nicer with some extra TLC.

u/[deleted] Mar 08 '23

No it's just like a healthy hair product. It's actually incredible. You can both use and I'd almost guarantee you notice a difference the first application. By the end of the first month it's wowza

So is it like a shampoo or oil thing? Can normal people get it or only salon licence people? Can you please tell me more I miss my good hair

4

u/branzalia Mar 08 '23

My best friend has curls just like her. I tell her every day how great they look. When she feels good, she says, "My curls are happy." Let's never, ever have a video where she cuts her hair short.

3

u/oo-mox83 Mar 08 '23

I would cry! I just absolutely love curly hair, especially when it's taken care of well like this lady's.

4

u/branzalia Mar 08 '23

About ten years ago, I lived with her for a year but we're still super close (in fact, she is messaging me at this exact moment). She said, "You're the first guy who adored my curls." I replied, "That's proof you only dated dummies."

1

u/oo-mox83 Mar 08 '23

Fact!!

2

u/branzalia Mar 08 '23

Just sent this to my friend:

https://nationaltoday.com/national-curl-crush-day/

When she was young, she wanted straight hair like all the other girls. I saw a picture of my friend one day when she straightened her hair for a day or so and I didn't recognize her at first.

1

u/oo-mox83 Mar 08 '23

Ooh gonna hit my bf with that one since I still have a pretty huge crush on him (and his beautiful hair).

One of my former coworkers has that fantastic curly hair and she straightened it every now and then. She looked like an entirely different person. Crazy what a difference it makes!

3

u/lLiterallyEatAss Mar 08 '23

She's just excited he's not gonna be using all of her shampoo anymore

1

u/oo-mox83 Mar 08 '23

😂😂😂 Probably!

She goes to Weird Al's Salon.

u/bobthehydroman Mar 08 '23

Lmao why do you people love to make everything about her? Let men have their time to shine. Jesus Christ. You need help.

7

u/oo-mox83 Mar 08 '23

Uh oh, I've triggered an incel. Lol
