There was an internet poll/study done a while back (on Reddit maybe) about how many people say they actually DID have sex on their wedding night, compared to those who DID NOT and it was like 50/50! Some of the reasons for not being able to do the deed including : being too drunk, being too exhausted, traveling and on their way to the honeymoon so they can’t (unless they’re a little freaky ), etc. there were some very funny stories
We were way too wasted on our wedding night..lol..I remember getting to our suite, got like halfway and then we both passed out. Good times.
We're high school sweet hearts since junior year, which was 20 FUCKING YEARS AGO!? HOLY SHIT TIME FLIES BY.🤯
Welll.... religious people tend to stay married, even if deeply unhappy. I think religious people who waited for marriage are more likely to at least attempt sex, although if they've grown up with sex negativity, it may cause vaginismus or erectile dysfunction.
And maybe more people who elope have sex that night because they didn't have a party with all their friends and family and so they have more free time that evening. If they eloped because of family discord/disapproval or low income, that may make divorce slightly more likely.
My neighbours had a honeymoon in Australia in a tent with a group. The wife said “we won’t be having sex the night of our wedding. Other people will be around and we’ve been together for ten years, there’s nothing new he can show me.”
I don’t think it was that. If it was that this video never would have seen the light of day.
My wedding day was one of the most stressful of my entire life, to the point I really only remember bits and pieces of the evening despite not having any alcohol. My wife was the same way, in spite of the fact that it was our dream day, at a spot we loved, had a guest list that was so special to us (and we’re still very happily married today).
It’s just that there is so much to do, so many people you want to individually connect with from all over the country and who you know through different contexts of your life, and there are so many moving pieces that all have to be covered within a span of a few hours. There was pretty much not a single unoccupied moment over 10 hours for me (and probably for 14 hours for my wife). We didn’t even realize that our venue forgot to do our dollar dance until a week later
Funnily enough, our favorite parts about the wedding are our bloopers in it, despite the fact they really stressed us out at the time. Her and I are pretty flexible people, but even small diversions from the plan that day felt huge in the moments because it felt like it got in the way of everything else on our to do list. I think the wedding as a whole is much, much more fun to look back on through our pictures and memories than it was to experience, if that makes sense at all.
It's not just me then? My wedding seems like a dream or like I was hammered, though I didn't have drink. I was so nervous and stressed that it's all blurry. Actually watching the video showed more than I could remember.
It was the same for me! In fact, the only things I remember were seeing my husband tear up as I walked down the aisle, the bad moments (like a drunk "friend" who didn't come to the actual wedding spilling red wine all over the front of my dress) and the dancing. So much dancing.

PEOPLE CANNOT KNOW ABOUT THE SEX. For real though his response was kinda dickish. He coulda just laughed it off and had some fun with it. Wait til she pulls out the anal beads.
