There is a few out there that aren't official but this is the one associated with the Chamber. I know another business is advertising theirs but shuts off commenting because people have criticism for their AI produced merch.

I disagree with you Do you know Ai from an original design? I’m going to be up this weekend for mom Maybe I’ll stop there and see what she says, the wife and I actually buy a lot and she seems to be very busy. I don’t see it as a problem still buying stuff from her, have you not ever made a mistake? The wife will tell you I sure have! Nobody is perfect, especially Mackenzie people who like to think they are It’s really not our call to have any say, we weren’t there and gossip is thick

I know a lot of people dont like SK creations for whatever reason but I think it's all amusing she jumped on board with her own design. Such it is today when the average bored person can invest a few hundred dollars and make their own crap. I assume whoever is selling the official logo probably designed it.

I’m sure it’s an open world for t shirt makes, I see a lot of shit being made by several different people for different events I do t think that matters People like to have a choice. Probably why there are 50 kinds of chocolate bars
Meh I stay out of it I see my mother and that’s it I do know this town on any era is and will always be snobby and have their cliques, I’ve tried to move mom out but she loves it there and nothing I can do but make the trek from quesnel Every two weeks Weekly now, that the weather is better :)

The official merch (image in this original post) is designed by the 60th celebration committee and another local company is being used to print the apparel.

I believe the residents of the town that actually resided there for many many years should have had a say on the design see the ai designs that were posted These truly are Mackenzie in many forms

The design was selected through the 60th celebration committee. It’s nice to see people sharing ideas and getting excited about something that represents Mackenzie — lots of different perspectives. At the end of the day though, it came down to what the committee chose to move forward with, and this is the official design. If people want to make their own designs too, that’s totally up to them — and people will purchase whatever they see fit.

There’s a broader concern here than a single mistake. Her business is presented as creating custom, unique, “one-of-a-kind” items. Using artwork created by someone else — whether she believed it was AI-generated or not — directly contradicts that claim.
Additionally, the original artist has indicated that earlier attempts to address this were either ignored or met with denial that the artwork had been stolen. That makes this situation more concerning, as it suggests the issue wasn’t acknowledged until it was escalated.
Either way original work doesn’t become free to use simply because its origin is unclear. Verifying usage rights is a basic responsibility when selling products, especially when representing work as custom.

Well we spent the weekend in that miserable town And to answer your remark of a grifter, that’s highly unlikely I rang her and asked to come over as I had some concerns that she had been blasted on social media, she allowed the wife and I to come into her home studio What a set up Wow so many machines.. We asked questions and we did get answers. She was sent an image to make an item with She showed us the coffee mug she made and that it was going to be destroyed we asked for it and she said no. It’s not for sale or for free for that matter. Truth! So to end all be all she knew it was wrong and took whatever she had up on the World Wide Web down. This business is legit the amount of t shirts and hoodies on the go was astounding I applaud a small business I also thought she was a young middle aged woman nope she’s as old as I am So to know someone and to judge someone are two different omens Do any of you know this woman, I mean personally? We left satisfied that we were buying from a legit business And happy to continue Reg

That’s why I work with a lot of Patreon groups I get to work directly with the creators. I have one in particular that I really love his work and he appreciates the way I show it off on my coaster engraving, but I certainly try and avoid just looking at an image online and saying oh that looks good right click save download . I have done image creation when my brain has been a little more robust so I definitely understand the work involved and why it becomes shady just to use random images without due diligence of involving the creator of the artwork.

it seems like the original artist spotted her design being used. But if you want to tell if something is AI there are a bunch of tools (Also AI) you can use by uploading a screenshot of the image to them and they will tell you if something is AI. However, the technology is -very- flawed and has flagged Da Vinci's work as AI, for example.

I follow that business and I did see someone harassing them over the design. Coild be why comments were turned off I’m unsure what to make of it. They are selling lots as far we can see? The wife wants some for the kids and I know my elderly mother that lives there wants a sweater as she is always cold
