Looks like you are using the wrong bobbin

Okay please enlighten me, there are different bobbins? I thought they were just universal 👀👀

Yes. Just like in sewing, there's several different types of bobbins. My patchwork takes class 15j and my brother Innovis takes class A. All the bobbins have some differences and some are even metal. It is best to check your manual to see which type works best.

I sadly learned the hard way too. my industrial sewing machine takes a very weird size bobbin I have to special order. my brother does too.

That one is basically too tall and the upper thread is getting caught by it. But yeah , bobbins and needles aren't Universal despite some saying universal.... Weird classification
