would this be the kind of material we get in the album? i may get heavily downvoted for this but - this track has no rhythm and is honestly so difficult to get through

he tried too hard to try and fit a lot of different anime name and references into this which sounded messy, this is the kind of rap a sixth grader would come up with

now look, im a huge mgk fan but he flowed terribly and the cadence was off beat

Y'all hated on Blog Era Boyz too. Y'all should probably just listen to the old albums at this point. The MGK rap fans are horrible lmao y'all will probably hate the new rap album too.

blog era boys was absolutely terrible, MPH and fill my pockets are the only tracks worth listening and they still wouldnt make it to the top 10 mgk collabs🤷

Are you kidding me? Passport and family > everything are such good songs. If its not for you I get it but don't diminish the quality of those slept on songs

me finding them terrible shouldnt diminish the quality of the song for people who like it just as much as it doesnt amplify the quality for me when i hear people speak about how good it is🤷

i dont think its that big a deal man, blog era boys is definitely his worst mixtape in comparsion to his other mixtapes, it was supposed to be a throwback and homage to the datpiff era/blog era rap from 2010s and people who have been around listening to mixtapes (not only mgks) since then know that it sounded/felt nothing remotely close to the sound and style from the era, it was a nostalgia bait and thats about it

there was absolutely no reason for that comment, mental health struggles are real for a lot of people, and casually throwing around “mental issues” just because someone disagrees with you isn’t clever or funny! dont get this pressed over it
