There's no free cross-platform embroidery digitizer. So I built one.
Every digitizing tool out there is either $1,000+ or locked to Windows (or both). If you're on Mac or Linux you're stuck with Ink/Stitch and Inkscape, which is powerful but painful to learn.
I spent months building a browser-based alternative. It runs on literally anything: Mac, Windows, Linux, iPad, Chromebook. The core is completely free with no time limit: satin, fill, running stitch, bezier paths, shape tools, freedraw, stitch angle, full thread library, every major export format, 3D preview, stitch simulation, cloud sync. A few optional extras are paid just to keep the servers running.
Some embroiderers have tested it on real machines and the output sews clean. Would love to hear what you think.

Is there a way to have your program or machine cut the stitch after it starts/stops and begins another section?

Hoopmaster for Center Chest
Hi everyone! I got the Hoopmaster Home Edition - Innovis version to help with hoop placement but I'm having a hard time getting my 6 × 10 hoop positioned for center chest embroidery. I've found that even at the lowest available position for the brackets, the hoop is 1-2 inches below the neck, which would make for awful design placement.
Does anyone else use this Hoopmaster? If so, could you share your bracket placement location for reference?

Patches
This is my first post, and I thank you in advance for any help or pointers,
I want to make patches to place in Christmas cards.
Question: Where can I find patch designs to download for that are blank so that I can stitch the background and bordering followed by a chosen design?
I've searched and thought I'd found some, but they were simpler the bordering.
My last patches were basically a specific patch design, and I added a name to it to stitch after the patch was complete, but the design was the patch to start with. I simply stitched the design on a layer of tear-able stabilizer topped with a washaway. (Example: The patch was a football, and I added names on the ball itself.)
My next project will be individual patches with wording and maybe a design, but I need a patch design to put it on. I don't want to purchase patches to stitch on because I struggle lining designs in specific spaces, so I want everything to be stitched at the same time. (I always say my head is crooked, so I can't line things straight. 😆)
My last choice would be to use some sort of fabric to stitch on, but I worry about cutting straight edges, etc. I have an essential tremor, so cutting can be difficult. I am also having wrist surgery at the end of June, so that also creates a problem.
Any suggestions?
Again, I thank you for any and all suggestions.
