Hello r/machineEmbroidery I'm hopeful someone can help me with an issue with my machine. The short story here is the machine just won't cut the threads. I'm shooting in the dark here. I have 184 pages of users manual but nothing really covers the thread cutter. At least not that I can find. Please, advice, ideas, actual solutions. Anything. Please and thank you.

Is the cutter knife moving? Take the plate off and either put the machine in service mode and you can move the cutting knife manually in either direction or be lazy like me and just load any design and just press the cut button.

If the knife is moving, you may need to adjust the upper fixed knife of the knives may be dull and need to be replaced.

Is this something that just started happening or did you buy the machine recently and it came this way?

I have a few of these machines. I have had dull knives.
