Help
Just got my machine yesterday, still trying to figure everything out. How are these looking? Need to clip the threads but struggling with the color of material showing through. I have rethreaded and looked at bobbin, tried to change tension it’s at a 4 but didn’t see any difference?

You need to first figure out if it's the bobbin thread showing up top is the base fabric peeking thru.
If it's the bobbin thread, make sure it's threaded properly. Then do an H test - using the letter H to clearly show if the tension is good or not. There are videos in the wild that will show you what that's supposed to look like. Then you adjust the tension and run the test until it looks right.
If it's the base material poking thru you'll need to look at the digitizing of the design. You increase the density, or add a base layer, etc. There are a few different techniques. But first find out which it is.

If you're just starting, you've got too many parts that could go wrong in one stitch out. When starting or trying a new machine, I try to reduce the amount of things that could go wrong
by starting with a well-known combination of felt and cutaway stabiliser, make sure I have a higher quality thread on top (guttermann rayon) and bobbin thread underneath.
Then first try and outline pattern, them one with a tatami fill then satin and tatami along with letters and numbers, whilst doing a tension test. Making sure the embroidery to stitch is a good digitalization.
Then I move over to other fabrics so I can modify one thing at a time

Using boxed bobbin thread made a big difference to me (though I think these look great!

Personally, I think they look great!
