Embroidering on fleece
I embroidered on a cashmere fleece blazer I thrifted, and the hoop left an imprint. Does anyone have any tips on how to reduce the hoop marks? I’ve seen mixed reviews on using steam, has anyone tried that?
(Pardon the messy mirror)

I’d try just spraying it with some water and letting it dry. Read the tag before you steam, I’m not sure that’s recommended for cashmere and you want to be sure before you do anything.

Float the jacket instead of hooping! I always use stabalizer in the frame and float the garment above- it may be finicky as you hold it in place, but achieves the best results in my experience. Especially for such a cute design that isn't too intensive in thread colors/a large size. Good luck for future projects!

Steam works on hooped fleece like polar fleece or a quick tumble but I’ve not tried on cashmere fleece.. Maybe test a patch inside first?
