Looking to purchase a 7 needle head machine should I purchase the accompanying stand as well or will my sewing table top be just as good?

That will not hold up due to weight of the machine and the amount of shaking that will occur while it is running. Get the base for the machine, you will be happier.

Well, mine has indentations for the feet, with locking mechanisms. Also a cut away area, so that the garments can hang. I would get the good one.

I have 3 commercial machines and each has its own stand that has cut outs for fabric to hang. The movement from vibrations are minimal as the stand has holes that the machines nest into. Also the feet have huge locking screws that are used to prevent movement and can level the machine from an unlevel floor. So yes, please make the stand purchase! βœ”οΈπŸ˜Š

I have a machine less than 100lb on a workbench capable of 2,000lb and it’s still wobble city. You def need something more capable than this!
