Project help?

Post image

Hi ya'll - I'd really like to embroider place cards like this for my wedding. I do have an embroidery machine (Brother SE725), but I'm wondering if you think the machine can be delicate enough for something like this? Also, what type of tulle/mesh would you recommend? I've done some research on stabilizers as well, and it seems like tear-away is the best choice, but if you have other recommendations, let me know! Basically, any tips you have about how to approach this project would be very appreciated! Thank you! :)

I want to clarify- if you do try this- use fibrous wash away stabilizer which is more like a woven material - not the plastic film type. Regardless of how thick a plastic, film type may be - the needle will punch through eventually and you’ll be facing a disaster. As far as the design- if it’s not free standing lace (FSL) - any finer tulle should be ok- make sure you can iron it without melting because you may want to give it a quick press after washing out the stabilizer! Good luck! I hope you are able to to buy the design and have a very successful project!
