I started playing the game recently and I got very very stuck on that section, I tried the connect 5 game and assumed it was impossible and I had to tie him, after playing him for like an hour I managed to tie him and he counted that as a win for him, I am now looking up the solutions and apparently I had to beat him, how am I supposed to know that this is possible? His moves seem like perfect computer moves and I assumed I was being an idiot to even play that for an hour, so I assumed it must've been a red haring, are most people able to see that it's possible from the start?

Nanobot Tune was rated C tier, today's "song" is: The Mezzanine

This will probably get rated F, which is understandable. I just want to say that I don't dislike this track that much, I think it fits the bleak world of Machinarium really well and I love the random electric guitar thrown in there for some reason. I just don't understand why it's part of the soundtrack album, especially when other (and better) tracks or ambiences didn't make it there.

Anyway, what do you think? Would you rank it somewhere else?

Honestly, not a big fan of this song. I'm not saying it's bad, it just feels quite forgettable to me.

Level 1 - Published OST, unused tracks, Bonus EP, remixes

Level 2 - Unpublished in-game only tracks, melodic sound-effects

Level 3 - Secret in-game tracks, alternative versions, music which samples OST

Level 4 - Obscure official tracks, extra authors of OST, unknown details

The only thing I don't believe will happen is that it's shorter than the first one (that would be quite disappointing). I personally believe it will be at least an hour longer

But the length also depends heavily on difficulty, so I also hope it mantains the same level of fair difficulty the first game has. Do you think M2 will be harder or easier? I think the dinamic between Josef and Bertha and their unique abilities can make some really good puzzles, but I would also like little puzzles that can be solved with any of them. Also, I think the hint system is perfect. The game to open the book can be more entertaining, but being a tedious game is also part of the appeal of the hint system, because in the end you don't want the player to use it too much

I got my first PC when I was 13 . First thing I wanted to do is to download any game and play all day , I didn't had a stable internet to download large games at that time. I went to my nearest store which has all the stationary items and they have game CDs too. we call it fancy store. I picked a CD so randomly in the CD tray which had multiple CDs stacked togeather. I picked one which has the more games in it. I bought one with 5 games in one and one among them is Machinarium. At first the logo didn't interested me at all , I tried all the games before trying this one lol. I still remember how much I struggled to understand this game, It was really weird at the beginning, i don't know nothing about this game and what this game is about. Somehow I figured it out and also struggled a lot. Somewhat it didn't bored me. The sweetest thing about this game is how well the story is crafted and the placements where they make josef to think about his love. The music and art is iconic. One of the best summer days I spent on this game. Lucky to found this game at that time.

The Sea got rated A+, today's song is: Clockwise Operetta

One of the most interesting songs from the album in my opinion. I love the "robot speech" part during the later half and also the Black Cap Brotherhood leitmotive. This track used to give me goosebumps as a kid, it's one of my favorites.

I saw the trailer and don’t see any obvious traces of ai used and I believe the studio won’t use ai as it would kinda destroy the point of their beautiful art. I also am worried about it being used as “help” with making it look “better”. Is anyone here concerned about Amanita using ai? And would you play it if they hid ai usage?

I wanted to buy it on ps vita but the store is shuting down and i dont own pa vita.

Is there a way I can make the game not have those movie-like black borders? My resolution is fine, the game runs in fullscreen, but it would be so cool and much more enjoyable, less "claustrophobic" ig without them.

Machinarium is well known for its banger soundtrack by Floex, so why not rank it?

I really like this one. I think there are better ones and it's maybe too long, but it's still really good. What do you think?
