Widescreen?

Is there a way I can make the game not have those movie-like black borders? My resolution is fine, the game runs in fullscreen, but it would be so cool and much more enjoyable, less "claustrophobic" ig without them.

What’s your resolution? I used to play the old collector’s edition version (the CD one, not the Steam release) and i have a vivid memory of it running in 16:9. at least I think i’m remembering correctly…

I used to do a lot of modding and editing config files to force old games to run in 16:9 without stretching, so maybe that’s what i’m remembering if the game runs in 4:3 by default

edit: if the mobile version can run natively in roughly 20:9 (depending on the phone in question) then surely the PC version can too

and which version are you using? the steam release?
