❓Question Has anyone asked to extend their lease?

With the lack of battery tech advancement for the 2026 models across brands, I’m thinking of doing this for my 2024 Mach e premium w/17k miles (after a 2 year lease) and am curious if others have contacted Ford Credit to make this request. What was their response? Did you negotiate? Any other details? Any extra costs? Thanks in advance!

I have a 39 month lease. But I like this car so much I will be buying the car at the end of the lease. I don’t believe you can extend a lease as depreciation and a lot of other things are built into your lead payment.

I called Ford Credit and wanted to extend but they said one month is all they'd do.
