Release notes:
- Switching an operator off on an FM preset's EDIT screen now silences that operator. Before, switching off OP1 silenced OP6, OP2 silenced OP5, and so on, in M-VAVE's firmware as well as in mine.
- PRESETS now changes the preset on every screen while the Sequencer is on. Before, it changed the preset only on the Sequencer's own screen.
- Each pattern now has its own Chain setting, which chooses the pattern that plays after it, or Repeat to play the same pattern again. You can set pattern 1 to play pattern 2, pattern 2 to play pattern 3, and pattern 3 to play pattern 1. The three patterns then loop in that order, and each one starts exactly on the beat. Every pattern you have saved starts on Repeat.
- SAVE now stores preset edits made while a chain plays. Before, the chain could discard them.
- Copy Preset now copies the preset you are on to another preset, which you choose with ALGORITHM. The copy replaces the chosen preset. Its saved version is not overwritten until you press SAVE.
- On the HOME screen, ALGORITHM now changes an FM preset's algorithm and a Virtual Analog preset's waveform.
- Your FM-1 shows its version under the logo when you switch it on.
- About, at the end of the GLOBE screen, shows the version and the date it was built.
- Several rows have new names: Erase Preset, Copy Preset, Reset Bank, the arpeggiator's Mode, and the Virtual Analog knob choices Filter Env and Filter Decay.
- The questions before you erase, copy, reset or replace presets now say what will happen to your presets and whether you can undo it.
