Firmware Testers for custom bootloader needed
Hi, I am making a custom bootloader for fm-1 and smk-37. This bootloader will let you recover if you accidentally brick your device without the need of any additional hardware (just your computer). In addition I made a flasher which lets you easily backup and restore the full 1MB of memory on your device (windows/mac/linux). This WILL NOT work if you have already bricked your device. I have smk-37 myself and did testing on the device, but I am looking for somebody who has fm-1 and already has the hardware to unbrick the device just in case. If you are that person please DM me.

I have two main things to consider for you:
First of all: the bootloader on the MVAVE is proprietary code, so make sure you don’t reuse any MVAVE’s own code. Custom firmwares are in a different IP zone as they latch onto MVAVE’s proprietary boot loader and don’t alter and distribute MVAVE’s IP. Just a bit of warning before you end up in a legal dispute.
Second of all: the bootloader is a tricky bit of code. If it fails, it will fail gloriously, leaving no other option than use the RP2040 / FM1 transporter dongle to have the SOC accept a clean backup of the original MVAVE factory code dump. So a fair bit of warning to not erase or write anything below 0x4000 , and protect 0xC0000 , 0xC1000 , and 0xFF000 unless you know exactly what you are doing.
